" JUMP...for my Love "
A full length leg jumpsuit is a must have for Summer 2011. These one piece outfits make getting dressed easy because it is a complete outfit. This is a good choice when you want full coverage but do not want to wear a dress. They are especially great for a windy day because you do not have to worry about the wind blowing up your skirt exposing yourself for all to see. There are so many choices for these one piece outfits. You can find very casual ones as well as jumpsuits appropriate for a formal occasion. Many of these one piece outfits are draped and embellished so as they appear as a dress instead of pants.
The 1970s is when jumpsuits were at their height of popularity so it is no surprise that in 2011 when the 70s look has made a comeback that the jumpsuit would be a part of that revival.

The jumpsuit below is strapless which is quite popular. There is some ruching at the sides to give it some dimension. Since this is solid black you will want to brighten it up with your shoes, jewelry, or a belt.

If you want to wear a fashion forward non traditional jumpsuit, the Elise Overland Leather Capri Jumpsuit below is a great choice. This jumpsuit has a deep v neck plunge to the naval and is very form fitting. While this is a solid black, you do not want to add too much color with your accessories because the jumpsuit is so detailed and you would take away from it by adding too much.

" A Woman of Many Hats " ((summer '11 edition))
Bring on the inner Diva, and wear a sassy sun Hat with style & confidence this summer!
-----------------------------------------------------------
Some people are hat people, and I happen to be one of them.
Hats are the ultimate blending of function and style.
They are the perfect way to protect my pale, freckled skin from the sun, gloss over a frizzy hair day or provide a brim of privacy on mornings when exhaustion takes over.
Floppy hats, especially, do the trick for me. They add a touch of relaxed dignity to any outfit, whether you’re in a maxi dress bound for the beach or strolling to get your morning latte.
(They also play well into the gearing-up 70s trend we have on our hands for spring and summer!)-----------------------------------------------------------
The Return of the Fedora -Spring Summer 2011
For women the fedora is the perfect spring and summer accessory. "I be killin' em" when I rock my edgier fedoras....they should be worn with a pop of color - not the standard bland & neutral tones. Celebs prefer the hat in straw or other light materials...((Hats are Physician Endorsed))
" Everything But Water "
Swimwear Trends for 2011
There is a new generation of swimwear designers hitting the Market.
Mavens and mavericks alike are setting out with their wares to impress the beach and resort world with their new take on what the modern swimsuit should look like.
I have to say...it's refreshing and it never ceases to amaze me with what they come up with, while working with so little.

Cover ups, beach frocks, sarongs - your summer adventure at the beach won't be complete without them. It feels good to expose your toned body but for long hours of sizzling heat under the sun I'm sure you'll grab something to cover you up.
Reasons to cover up:
- Health: Basically to minimize the risk of having skin cancer. Sorry for sun-worshippers out there.
- Beauty: Too much sun exposure causes painful sunburns and damages our skin cells which can lead to faster skin aging. A cover up offers low yet effective sun protection & it also covers up any "flaws" you may have
- Style: Surely you wouldn't be walking around all day only with your swimsuit. You need a cover up for an added style factor.
- Function: Cover up after getting out of the water so you won't get chilly.. You can just put it on or take it off without having to worry changing in public.. If you need a little modesty, a cover up can be of great help..
Summer cover up tips:
- Kaftans and tunics usually have longer sleeves so they cover up flabby arms and problem areas around the hips and midriff.
- If your legs aren't one of your best assets, wear a long cover up dress or a sarong that extends down to the ankles.
- See-through cover ups aren't made to fully "cover up" but are there to complement your swimsuit.
- Cotton is a recommended fabric.
- For a classic look, get a pairing swimsuit and cover up. For a more trendy style, pair plain swimsuits with printed cover ups or vice versa.
- Raid your closet for mini summer dresses, tank tops, and loose cotton tops before purchasing a new cover up to save some cash.
